This helps Partnership for Animal Welfare, Inc. with pet care costs.
Her name is Bunny because she hops when she is excited. This sweet young (1 year) medium sized girl (40 pounds) is filled with happy energy. She loves everyone she meets - dogs and people (cats we aren't sure of). She was living as a stray but that hasn't stoped her from having an enthusiatic trust in people. She likes to lean up against you and get petted. She loves to play and loves her toys but she surrenders them easily when asked.
This is what her short-term fosters have to say about her: Bunny is doing well, seems happy, and her energy level is exuberant, as it has been pretty much all along. By the way, she's house trained and crate trained, so bathroom habits haven't been at all an issue. We're already bittersweet at saying goodbye to her."
Bunny is very motivated by treats and attention so we think she will be a quick learner. We think she would do well either with a doggie sibbling or as an only dog as long as she got plenty of play time with friends. She would do great with someone who likes to hikes or go out to events with their dog. What a great outgoing young pup to become your favorite companion!
