Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Star is eight years old and doesn’t understand what has happened to her mom. Sadly, her mother has developed health problems and can no longer care for her. Star has the softest fur ever and is a lab / spaniel mix. She is about 40 pounds and would do best in a home with no other animals or small children.

People must come in for personal interview and complete adoption form. If renting, written permission from landlord is required. Adoption fee is $225. We require animals be returned to our facility if adoption does not work out. We require a signed agreement never to chain or crate an animal (crate exception for transport only). We DO NOT support crating! We follow up with phone call or home visit within first month. Adoptions are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call 231-944-6520. You must be 21 years or older to adopt.
