My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is 7 month-old beagle/dalmation mix. He is one of 13 puppies from a private home. He is affectionate, very friendly and gets excited when a new dog or human friend is around. He has had some training at a pet store, and will sit, lie down, and wait for permission to eat his meals. He barks when it's time to potty. He loves to go for walks, but needs continued training for pulling on his leash. He enjoys playing with other dogs at the local dog park. He is unusual for a "beaglemation" because his fur is longer, softer, and a bit wavy. He also weighs more at 65 lbs. so far. Because of his unusual size, as a 72 year old woman with osteoporosis, I have come to realize that he will need a home with a younger owner who is strong enough to control him when he gets excited.
