My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ember and her lovely babies: Slash, Speckles, Stripes and Whitey. Ember was a stray cat who was found very pregnant. Thanks for one of our fosters, she had a safe, warm place to deliver her babies. The babies were born on 7/11/24.

She is shy and independant, but likes her people once she is warmed up and feels safe and secure. She is a tiny, sweet cat! The kittens are a little shy at first, but should be great companions after they feel comfortable with their new people. They are adorable and playful!

At the time of adoption, all will be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped. Ember's adoption fee is $50 and the kittens are $100 for a single or the same price for a pair! They will come with all their medical records, as well as a sample of the food they have been eating!

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
