My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Toast! She is a dachshund mix who is around 5 years old. She hadn't previously had experience living in a home with a family, but she adjusting. She absolutely has learned how to use the dog door, but she's working on knowing what to use it for. She's had a few accidents in the house but has been getting better. Toast can be timid at first, but she warms up once she realizes she is safe. She has been getting along with dogs of all sizes. Larger dogs can intimidate her, but she is realizing that the world isn't so scary and warming up over time. Toast is a gentle girl who needs someone understanding of her past and who has patience with her. She is a sweet, sensitive, good- hearted girl who loves laying next to her person on the couch or exploring the yard. She would do best in a house setting where she has access to a yard and where someone is home with her most of the time. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.
