Please welcome Benito to the adoption market! In Benny's mind it's HIS world and we are all just living in it. He is a young 1-2-year-old Bengal cat. Like many Bengals that end up displaced, his owner purchased him because he is a beautiful breed, without considering that this is also a high maintenance breed of cat. Benito is smart, social, demanding and is bad as he wants to be. He knows where his treats are kept and knows exactly how to open the cabinets to help himself to them. If a window is left open and he isn't supervised, he is happy to shred a screen so he can take himself on a little outdoor adventure. If he's thirsty, he will sit by the nearest faucet and yell until his human slaves turn it on so he can satiate his thirst with *running* water. If he has nothing better to do, he is quick to jump on the counter to knock over your glass of iced tea just so he can watch you clean it up.
In short, Benny is not a good fit for anyone looking for a well-behaved lap cat. He needs plenty of daily interaction, because a bored Bengal will easily get in trouble. The good news is, Benny is extremely outgoing, friendly and his antics can be pretty entertaining. He coexists seamlessly with other animals, even taking his place in line for treat time with his Frenchie foster brothers. He is obviously gorgeous and personality wise, he truly is a really, really cool cat. But don't adopt him unless you are prepared to meet the needs of a high energy, determined and very intelligent feline. Benito is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped and FIV/FelV tested negative. His adoption fee is $400. Apply for Benny: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CCRS/Cat
