My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cute as a Shih Tzu, independent as a Lhasa Apso. Smokey is a loving boy who wants to please and have a human to guide him in his life. As a young dog, he will need structure and guidance to be the best dog he can be. If allowed to do what he wants and be placed in a role of leader, he will act out under the pressure. Smokey is crate trained and must have a young, active player in the home. He is too much for aging pets. At this time, though he loves kids, we do not want him in a home with younger children. Experienced lhasa owners only.
His adoption will include consultation with a trainer who has won the heart of Smokey due to her loving leadership and undestanding for the uncertainty he experienced in his early life.

Go meet their pets

Approved adopters are invited to adoption events held every 2-3 weeks to meet many dogs and select their new dog. We also will meet one on one with adopters if a specific dog is requested.
