Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Periwinkle, a female, calico domestic short-hair born around April 17, 2024. Say hello to the snuggliest kitten you’ll ever meet! Periwinkle’s favorite thing in life is to cuddle. She doesn’t care if she’s in your lap, laying around your shoulders while you do chores, or being held like a small child with her paws wrapped around your neck in a big hug – she just wants to cuddle! In between all of those loud purrs and snuggles, Periwinkle is still a young, playful kitten who loves to play. Periwinkle loves jingle balls and anything that dangles (cat wands, strings, etc.). She’s a super talkative little girl that will chirp and follow you room to room asking to be picked up or play. Periwinkle currently shares a foster home with children and a dog and adores them all! She is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting Periwinkle, contact us today at adopt@carolinapaws.com.

More about this rescue
Carolina P.A.W.S. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization comprised of a network of compassionate Carolinians, all of whom are volunteers. We are devoted to helping abandoned and abused cats and dogs throughout the greater Charlotte area find loving homes. CPAWS does not have a facility and relies entirely on volunteer foster parents to care for an animal until we are able to find a pet their forever home. Our founding members have been collectively involved in animal rescue for over 20 years.
Carolina P.A.W.S. volunteers can be found "in the trenches," rescuing animals at high risk- those starving on the streets, languishing in shelters, and suffering in abusive situations. Each animal has a different past but our promise to them all is the same…a second chance. We provide them with medical attention, rehabilitate them physically and emotionally, and care for them in foster homes until they can be placed in loving permanent homes.
Along the way, we prepare them to become wonderful companions by taking the time to socialize them and patiently teaching them to trust. We also spay/neuter each one, provide all inoculations, and ensure that they are in perfect health before being made available for adoption.
