Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I’m Dominic, aka Dom, and I’m ready to be your new best friend! I am a 5 year old, 7 pound Chihuahua mix and as you can see I am a very handsome, dapper guy! I have a short golden coat, a cute white muzzle and white tipped paws that look like tiny white gloves! I am small but mighty and I love to show my soft side by snuggling with my human. In fact, you might even call me a “Velcro Dog” because I like to stay very close to my humans; laps are my favorite! I live every day in gratitude as I was rescued from a shelter at the very last second in very ruff shape! I’m totally healed now and want to share my love and positive energy in my perfect forever home. I’m an adventurous fellow and I like to go on car rides. I also like to go on daily walks and strut around my neighborhood! I get along well with other dogs and older children who know how to be gentle with me. I’m housebroken, good on a leash, and not quite sure what a cat is. I am fully vaccinated, neutered and I have a microchip. I’m practically perfect! Interview

We will call if we feel you are a fit for one of our adoptable pets. Once confirmed, we will set up a meet and greet with the pet.

3.
Home Check

We will visit your home to see the environment where the dog will live and answer your questions.

Additional adoption info

Additional Information:

If applicable, we'll call your veterinarian to ensure that previous pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and well cared for.

For renters, we'll check with your landlord to ensure that dogs are permitted and that the dog that you're adopting wouldn't violate any size or breed restrictions.

Adoption fees are generally between $300-$450 depending on which pup you are adopting.

Leashes of Love Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from local high-kill shelters in Southern California and owners who can no longer care for them. Our goal is not only to place dogs in well-matched, carefully screened forever homes, but also to educate dog owners about responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
