Charles is as handsome and distinguished as his name implies! He is a total love bug, covering his trusted humans with kisses and snuggling on the couch with them under soft blankets. Charles is very smart, learning new commands in no time and figures out his puzzle feeder quickly. He is fully house trained and very good in the crate, happily eating his meals there and sleeping through the night without a peep. Charles is from rural Kentucky so is not used to the city, and is working hard on being brave enough to go outside. He is currently very fearful of walking on the street and is instead getting used to his foster home’s quieter yard to go potty. He is slowly inproving but will require continued patience and would ideally go to a home with direct outdoor space to continue this training, or better yet a home in a less urban area. Charles seems friendly with other dogs and may benefit from a confident friend to help show him around.
