My name is Maggie!

Hi there, I'm Maggie — Also known as Mama Maggie.  I came into rescue with my 4 kittens from an owner surrender. I mostly lived outside on the surrender's property and they would feed me and give me some pets, but I would spend the majority of my time roaming the outdoors.  I have had multiple litters in the last year and I'm ready to not be pregnant. I am a very good mama to my rambunctious crew, showing lots of love and patience with them.  That shows you how sweet of a girl I am. I am very laid back and appreciate human company.  I will approach you and give a soft meow when I see you and will rub up against your legs for some attention.  I enjoy pets and laying next to you, but not quite ready for lap napping.  I am ok with being held by adults and older children for a shorter period of time but prefer to just be near you.  If you listen quietly, you will hear a really soft purr. My favorite activity is looking out the window and reminiscing about my past life outside, however I am enjoying the good life of living indoors. I really enjoy observing my surroundings. I'm not into playing with toys or running around, but as I learn to get more comfortable that could change. There are two children in the home with me (12 yrs and 7yrs old) and I enjoy their company as well. 

I've done great with my litterbox and have never had an accident. I'm not a fan of dogs right now, but possibly with time and slow intros I could get there.  Maggie's presence brings warmth and peacefulness to any room.
