Lucy is a very sweet and highly energetic girl. She may be shy initially, but once she warms up to you, she becomes a lap dog and loves getting pets. She is highly athletic and is a high jumper. She would do best in a home that has active people to get her energy out. During her stay at foster home, she stayed with her foster dad and her foster sister (Ella, a small pomapoo). She liked playing with her sister and cuddling with her dad. She can warm up to strangers who say hi and who were even trying to pet her. She gets scared of loud noises. She is still learning how to walk on a leash, so be patient and motivate her for positive growth. She should be supervised while outside since she is very fast and may take off if she hears loud noises, so have a sturdy fence for a safe boundary. She is highly food-motivated and crate-trained. Among the different toys, she likes the yellow tennis bowls the most. She is great at being groomed. Overall, she is a very lovely girl who would add a lot of joy to her foster's lives.
