My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.

My name is Fergie! When I was just a couple weeks old I was found in a utility pipe yard among very loud machines and forklifts. I was super lucky that my foster mom found me and my siblings. She showed me love, toys, and what a full belly feels like.

So, despite my youth and cuteness, I do not require a lot of assistance – I love my new world of exploring. I am, in fact, quite independent for my age, and very low maintenance. I’m loving, and affectionate (when I want to be), but I enjoy having my own life too – playing, sleeping, eating. It’s a cat’s life . . . as they say.

I would be the perfect match for anyone that appreciates a calm and relaxed lifestyle. Fergie is an independent kitty that is reliable, balanced and dependable.

I come microchipped so I will never get lost from you, my first set of kitty vaccines (I was a really good boy), dewormed, and I will lose my troublepuffs (meaning neutered). My adoption fee is $200 which includes all of these things plus my little independent personality and love.

If you would like to continue to show me what a secure and good home is with you and your family, I would love to meet you. Please apply for me today!

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
