My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Interaction with Women:** No issues
**Interaction with Men:** No issues
**Interaction with Children:** No experience
**Interaction with Other Dogs:** Likes puppy friends. Gets along well with friends.
**Interaction with Cats:** No issues
**Potty Training Completed:** Currently practicing outdoor potty training
**Crate Training Completed:** In progress. Practicing
**Energy Level:** High
**Can be Handled or Touched:** No issues
**Tendency to Bark:** Barks slightly at outside noise when guardian is not present, but it's brief.
**Tendency to Run Away:** Caution when strangers try to pick up.
**Appetite Issues:** No picky eating. Eats well but not overly greedy.
**Current Food:** Dry kibble, home-cooked meals, wet canned food
**Walking with a Collar:** Walks well, doesn't mind the leash, but gets a bit scared when wearing a collar, so training is ongoing.
**Reactive to People or Dogs on Leash:** No issues, but may be startled by large objects appearing suddenly.
**Well-behaved in the Car:** Rides well in a car seat and crate! No motion sickness.
**Destructive Behavior:** Still a puppy, so there is some messiness, but no destruction of wires or furniture. Mainly tears up potty pads and toys.
**Needs a House with a Yard:** A house with a yard would be better.
**Needs a Home with Other Dogs:** Currently living with multiple dogs, so should adapt well to a multi-dog household.
**Can Live in an Apartment:** Can live in an apartment. Rides elevators well and goes down to the underground parking without issues.
**Rescue Story:** Rescued just before euthanasia.

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized. Therefore, we cannot provide the "meet and greet." Multiple video clips will be provided, and we will help you walk through the steps to reassure the adopted dog and the adopter are the best match for each other. Some dogs are available for meet and greet if the dogs are fostered in the US.

More about this rescue

WELCOME PAWS: KOREAN DOG RESCUE is an all-volunteer and animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected and abused animals, high kill city sheltered animals and dog meat trade animals in South Korea.
