Hi my name is Marnie. My 4 puppies and I arrived in Minnesota the first weekend in September. I am settling in very well into my foster home away from my puppies and loving the my new life so far. I know to do all my business outside. I love being around my people but not on the needy way. There’s nothing more than I love sleeping in my humans bed at night. I’m not very vocal and am very gentle. I’m used to eating my food separate from the other resident dogs ( there are 5 of them). I get along well with every dog I’ve ever met. There is even a cat here. It hissed at me and I walked away wondering why, I just wanted to be its friend. My humans are quite certain he will get to love me too. I do well walking on a leash and even like to play ball. My favorite toy is a stuffed llama. I’m excited to start my new life here and find the perfect loving home, is that yours?
***FOSTER TO ADOPT*** Marnie is Heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment. Once her treatment is complete, the adoption can be finalized. Once her adoption is finalized, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result which can take 2-9 months. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Marnie will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.
