My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Gracie, and I am brand new to Minnesota. I am a beautiful puppy with awesome features that are sure to make me stand out in a crowd! I have white and black fur that is very soft, and I have the most unique and stunning black speckled markings. Another thing that is extra special about me are by pretty eyes that are different colors (one blue and one brown)! My foster mom calls me a real stunner!

In addition to my good looks, I love people and greet everyone I meet with the best tail wags. I also love to give gentle puppy kisses and sweet snuggles. I have been getting to know my foster fur siblings that include two dogs and two cats. We have been getting along great!

I am learning lots of new things and Foster Mom calls me smart and a quick learner! I have already gone on some leash walks, like to hang out in my crate when I need a break from the action, and have been doing well with going potty outside (minimal accidents for me)! I have good treat manners too and know to sit for them.

Life didn't start out the best for me and my sister who were left to fend for ourselves as young puppies, but that's a thing of the past and we are now a part of the lucky ones to be in rescue! I am a happy, healthy, and well-adjusted pup who is sooooo ready and excited to find her forever family! I would love a chance to meet you so you can see for yourself how truly wonderful I am.

Thanks for considering me!
XOXO Gracie

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
