My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cinnamon came to Mutts of the Midway in August and is expected to be a year old.

Cinnamon is very loyal to her humans and will be their shadow around the house and rise from the coziest slumber just to be by their side. She is curious and playful and wants to explore what's around her. Cinnamon does great with her foster sibling by playing respectfully and is good at sharing. She is fully crate and house-trained. She loves learning and has been able to sit on command and sit when waiting for her leash to be put on. She is redirectable and receptive to learning new things!

Find a pet you're interested online based on their profile and pictures OR at an event (adoption event, fundraiser, etc)

2.
Submit Application

Application is reviewed. References checked.

3.
Approve Application

If approved, schedule meet.

4.
Meet the Pet

Official meet and greet. If adopter and foster agree to move forward, on to next step.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

6.
Pay Fee

$300 for dogs older than 6 months. $350 for dogs 6 months and younger.

Take the Pet Home

As a foster based rescue, you can meet our dogs at our adoption events and fundraisers. We also schedule meet and greets after an adoption application is approved.

Our mission is to provide Chicagoland families with adoptable dogs from across the U.S. and provide local education and resources.
We are excited to embark on this journey as a new foster-based rescue. We are looking to create a strong volunteer base. If you are interested please fill out our volunteer application here.
