Zoranj was found outside when someone dropped him off in an older lady’s yard. When his foster mom met him, she determined he was just too sweet and gentle to be living outside. Since coming into her home, he has been an easy and entertaining guest. He can be easily picked up, medicated, placed in a carrier, and is good about getting his nails clipped. He never meows or demands attention or food. He never shows aggression toward another cat or person. He always uses the litter box and only scratches his scratching posts. Zoranj is the sweetest little ginger tabby that gets along with everyone. He would be a great fit anyone really. For families with small children, you can feel safe that Zoranj will keep his distance from chaotic energies and no matter what happens, he has never even attempted to scratch or bite anyone he has met, vets included.
For those with other pets, he’s aware, respectful and receptive. He doesn’t bother the older resident cats of his foster home and waits patiently for his turn to eat. He also plays nicely with the other foster kittens and I often see them seeking him out to play or snuggle. For those that are busy or travel frequently, Zoranj is independent and content to play on his own with his mouse toys, nap on his shelf watching over the house, or enjoy the company of other cats.
You can get his attention easily and get him to come to you by offering a liquid treat like churu or waving a string/feather toy around. He loves to play. He may not come sit on your lap right away, but he may lay on the bed near you and if you go to him and give him pets he will lean in and purr (especially when you scratch the back of his neck).
Zoranj is FIV/FELV negative, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.

More about this rescue
We are a rescue organization made up of 3 members and a few volunteers who started rescuing cats at the beginning of 2022. We rescue all ages, colors , breeds, and sizes of cats, from strays to the ones losing their homes. Our members are located in the counties of Miami-Dade and Broward, Florida. Our goal is to save as many cats as possible and give them a chance at a forever home. Last year, we saved over 100 cats, some we adopted out ourselves and some went to other rescues. We might be a small group, but every day we move mountains to help and save as many cats as we can, even when our resources aren’t the most plenty, because every cat deserves a chance at a loving home. Besides rescuing, we also invest our time in TNR initiatives as this is a sure way of helping with the feline crisis over population.
