This little fella is Winn Dixie. He is 2-years-old and weighs 22 lb. We think he has some terrier in him. Winn-Dixie is a sweet but timid pup. After spending some time bonding with him, he will let you come up for pets. Even kisses. Winn Dixie would benefit from a dog-savvy adopter who understands that he might need time, patience and his space respected but that he will eventually come around. It appears that other dogs can really help him to relax and come out of his shell. He would love to have a confident dog friend to play with and model himself after. Winn Dixie would do best with gentle, dog-experienced children ages 12 and up who won't approach him too fast. We don't know what Winn Dixie thinks of cats, but we can "cat-test" him if needed.
