My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***AT SHELTER***

Our little Fern has arrived!

Adorable Fern came to EHS from another shelter after being found hitchhiking on the side of the road with her beautiful mum Charlotte, and her ginger brother Avery. We aren't sure where they were going, but we are glad they found their way to EHS!

Fern is a sweet, gentle, and timid kitten who is currently adjusting to life around people, as it seems she did not have contact with humans for the first few weeks of her life. This adorable tortie is showing great progress and has become the life of the party! Fern is the most outgoing member of this feline family; a playful and confident little kitten who LOVES her wand toy! She is usually the one to initiate a play session, and if her brother isn't interested, she is happy to entertain herself! With patience, love, and attention, Fern will blossom into a wonderful companion.

Please note: kittens, like Fern, have lots of energy!!! They require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans. Their optimal development also benefits tremendously from having a four-legged companion in the home to socialize with. So, we would prefer that Fern go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat or dog in residence or be adopted with her brother Avery or another compatible shelter animal.
