Avery, our little ginger snap!

Sweet Avery came to EHS from another shelter after being found hitchhiking on the side of the road with his beautiful mum Charlotte, and his adorable sister Fern. We aren't sure where they were going, but we are glad they found their way to EHS!

Avery is a sweet, gentle, and timid kitten who is currently learning how to live with people. It seems he did not have contact with humans during the first few weeks of his life, but this handsome fellow is showing great progress, gaining confidence every day. Avery is a laid back kinda guy, often chillin' out while watching his sis be the life of the party. He's curious and will take things in before joining Fern in a high-energy play session. With patience, love, and attention Avery is sure to grow into a wonderful companion.

Please note: kittens, like Avery, have lots of energy!!! They require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans. Their optimal development also benefits tremendously from having a four-legged companion in the home to socialize with. So, we would prefer that Avery go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat or dog in residence or be adopted with his sister Fern or another compatible shelter animal.

The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.
