Meet Rocky!

This 19 pound Chihuahua/Terrier mix has lost the only home he has ever known. At almost 11 years old Rocky would love a quiet space to call his own.

This boy loves to play with his toys, and wouldn't mind a short walk now an again.
His favorite pastime though is to be next to his human.

Rocky is going to need a little time transitioning to his new home, and a little patience. Rocky doesn't mind cats, but gets a little huffy around other dogs. We'd love to place him as an only pet so he can keep a lap all to himself.

Rocky has been around children 9 and up and has been completely fine with them.

He is completely housebroken, and trustworthy in the house.

ASCZ will contact you for a phone call within 72 hours after submission of your application. Please check your spam for our emails!

Additional adoption info

Please email info@asecondchanceforziva.com for an adoption application if interested in adopting or fostering a dog from ASCZ and please email us after you have submitted an application. After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.

The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.

A Second Chance for Ziva, Inc. (ASCZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs regardless of breed, size or age. ASCZ rescues, cares for and adopts out homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. The rescue does not have a shelter but rather we rely on devoted fosters that open their homes and provide love and comfort to our dogs.
