Meet our beautiful girl, Duchess. This sweet girl was left all alone outside when all of her siblings were scooped up and taken away. She found her way into a shelter and then into a foster home with Step Up to Save Animal Network.

Duchess is approximately 3 months old and has the loudest meow I have ever heard from a kitten. Now that she has a taste of the indoor life with humans that give her lots of love and other cats that she can play with, she never wants to be alone again. Duchess is very, very playful and must go to a home with lots of love, attention, toys and another pet that can match her playfulness. She will not do well being alone.

Although she is extremely playful and silly, she is also very affectionate. Once her energy has been drained, she’ll cuddle at your feet, on your lap, on your chest or even on your head. She’s the best of both worlds.

Step Up to Save Animal Network is a volunteer run, foster based organization. SUSAN’s animals live in foster homes as valued family members. Our foster parents are able to offer a unique perspective on the available pets’ likes and dislikes, as well as any personality quirks – this information is invaluable to the matchmaking process. SUSAN wants every placement we make to be a lifelong match and as such we have high adoption standards and ask all adopters to agree to ALWAYS contact us FIRST if the circumstances of life ever divide you from your new family member.
