We got Cheese in Georgia to be companion with our other cat Crackers. The cats are friendly with each other and have gotten along with dogs that we have fostered. Our kids love the cats who are very forgiving of young children playing with them, unfortunately due to family health issues (asthma, eczema and allergies), we have made the difficult decision to rehome the cats. It has been a long road to reach this decision because the cats are so friendly and the kids love them, but it’s more important for the kids to be healthy and for Cheese and Crackers to be with a loving family that doesn’t have the same medical problems. They can be separate as they are not a bonded pair, but you have the knowledge that they are good with cats, dogs and kids.
