Hear ye, hear ye! It is I, Summer, the bravest pup in all the land! I may be a tiny puppy, but don`t let my size fool you. I`m as tough as nails and ready to take on any adventure that comes my way. When I first arrived at this shelter, I was a little shy, but now I`m the life of the party! I love meeting new people and making friends, both human and canine alike. So if you`re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin, look no further than this pint-sized pup. I may be small, but my heart is as big as the great outdoors!
I currently weigh ~13lbs and may be ~60-65lbs when fully grown.
How did I get here? Transferred from Harnett County where I was surrendered by my owners after an accidental litter.

Adoption Fees:
Dogs 7 months and older: $95
Puppies 6 months and younger: $300
Cats 7 months and older: $45
Kittens 6 months and younger: $150
Rabbits: $35
Guinea pigs: $15

Adoption fees for dogs and cats include:
First vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, deworming and flea preventative.

All cats and kittens have been tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

All dogs and puppies have received heartworm preventative, and dogs/puppies over the age of six months have been tested for heartworms.

All rabbits are spayed or neutered.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.

The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million.
