Bear is nearly 3 years old. We got him last Thanksgiving from a family who couldn’t keep him. We are in our mid 70’s and didn’t realize the amount of energy required to keep him. He needs a younger family. I can walk him but my wife cannot. He is very protective of us and our house. He barks at anyone who comes in. He runs and barks but does not bite or attack. He is good with our 11 year old granddaughter when she sleeps over. He is afraid of thunder and fireworks. He is good when we cuddle with him. He sleeps all night in his bed at the foot of our bed. He will join us during a storm but goes back to bed when the storm is over. He needs training to learn that people coming into the house won’t hurt him. We cannot provide that training. We will provide all his stuff with him including beds, food bin, flea/tick meds, etc. We will bring him to you if you want to meet him. He’s a real sweetheart but just too much for us.
