Meet Luna! She was a pregnant TNR who once we released came back to her feeder meowing and wanting to come inside. So we took her into the rescue. She never let her feeder pet or touch her even after 6 months but once she was released she suddenly wanted human affection and interaction. She doesn't get along with other cats because she thinks she is still fighting for resources with them. She loves pets but when you stop she asks for more attention by biting. This is due to her resource guarding, her insecurity about you not petting her anymore makes her ask for attention in this way. We work with her by moving slowly and over time proving to her that she will always have attention and affection. These are not things she needs to fight for anymore.
