How Ricky arrived:
Ricky was brought in by a community member on 9/5/24.

Here is an update on how Ricky is doing in his foster home:
Ricky is thriving in his foster home and showing just how sweet he is! He's enjoying the company of two resident dogs and loves having friends around. Ricky is vocal, affectionate, and a good listener, making him a delightful addition to the home.

At SDHS:
Ricky has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Ricky is now ready for his new home!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County.
