My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We think black cats are good luck, and we're sure Beanie has luck on his side! After being left behind when his people moved, as luck would have it, a kind neighbor brought him to safety at our shelter, and he has the good fortune to be thriving in a wonderful foster home where his confidence has soared! His foster home reports that he is a hearty eater, and should you forget it’s feeding time, he’ll remind you with love nibbles until his vittles are before him! Beanie is a polite cat who chooses his favorite lounging spots and may need a boost to lie next to you on the couch, but that is a small price to pay to have this mild-mannered, friendly guy right beside you. As it turns out, Beanie is FIV+, but don't let that scare you! Beanie can live a full, happy life like any other cat and can live peacefully with other non-aggressive cats, so he is a lucky kitty! He also has an overactive thyroid for which he receives easy-to-give medication on his ear flap—piece of cake! As with all older kitties, Beanie should make regular veterinary visits to keep on top of his health, and after telling you allllll about his dislike of the carrier, he’ll be such a good boy with the vet when not confined in his kennel, making things so much easier for everyone! Beanie is receiving love and all the fixings to prepare him for a stable new indoor life ahead! Might that new life be the comfort of your home?? Beanie is feeling lucky!
