Hi there! I'm Cosmo, an adorable beagle boy! My life hasn't always been easy... until recently, I was living in an animal testing laboratory where I was forced to endure painful experiments. Many people don't know that animal testing involves experimentation on sweet and innocent dogs like me. Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I'm working on gaining confidence and learning how to trust humans. I am extremely shy because of what happened to me in a laboratory, but I soooo badly want to be loved! I'm hoping to find a special adopter that will give me all of the patience and love that I need to become the joyous beagle boy that I'm meant to be. Once I trust you, I love to stay near you at all times and lean in for head scratches. I love other dogs, so my forever home needs another confident pup that can show me the ropes! My dream is to be adopted from BFP along with my best friend, Dolan, so that we can stay together! I'm still pretty scared of new things; and most things are new to me right now, so I'll do best in a home with a yard where I can peacefully explore my surroundings and enjoy the outdoors.
