My name is Justice. I am approx. 4 years old & 75lbs. My shots are up to date, and I'll be neutered shortly!
Some of you may have been following my story for a while but for those of you who haven’t, my name really stands for something:
I was shot in the face by somebody & I survived. My jaw was hanging & useless (& so extremely painful). The vet nearby the shelter duct taped my jaw closed because there was really nothing to be done without some extensive reconstructive surgeries. And that’s where my story starts!
Cross Your Paws scooped me up & took me to an amazing veterinary dentist who worked tirelessly to make my jaw useable again! Which is amazing because I had to be tube fed for so long that my people feared I could die of starvation. But I have a will & determination to survive! And I want justice for what happened to me!
Today I happily live with a foster family who has many pets & social gatherings. I love everyone I meet & everyone loves me! I am the happiest guy just to be alive! I am sweet, mild-mannered, I deeply care about making my people proud & I am very curious & playful. I love walking & exploring new places & things.
I am not food aggressive but my foster family ensures to feed me on a very strict schedule so that I never become fearful of missing a meal. If I smell food on a counter, I am going to go after it. It will take a lot of work for me to learn that I am no longer starving.
If you see room in your life for a giant hound dog like me, I would be forever your best friend & so grateful for a family that I could truly trust & love.
If you're interested in adding me to your family forever, please apply at www.crossyourpaws.com
