My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tricksy! She is a gorgeous Min Pin mix from South FL- She made a lot of friends and had a great foster home while waiting for transport and this is Tricksy's story from her foster home:

Tricksy was placed on social media as “FREE DOG”, I feared for Tricksy’ s life and reached out to the poster. After prying a bit, I discovered the man who posted Tricksy for Free had been using her to breed and no longer had any use for her. Tricksy was not spayed and is around 1.5 years old. So I took her into my home and decided to foster her and gave her all the love and care she needed. Tricksy was spayed and is now up to date on her vaccines.

Tricksy was shy at first and it seemed as if she did not know how to react to the affection given to her but it took no time at all to make her feel safe and loved and her beautiful personality came out. Tricksy now loves all the attention given to her and followed me everywhere. Tricksy now knows what love is and wants all of the attention.

Tricksy is great on the leash and has a preference to walk on the right side. She typically went on three walks a day; after breakfast, in the afternoon and then right after dinner. She never had an accident in the house, so she is house trained. She does love car rides but sometimes does get a bit nauseous. It was obvious Tricksy was never given a toy, it took some time for her to realize what toys are. Her current favorite toy is a ball made out of material, she will walk around the house with it and take it to her pooch pad. Tricksy has never been in a crate while with the Foster and has her own bed that she sleeps in at night. Tricksy enjoys being a couch potato and watch TV. I have two cats and Tricksy has never shown any aggression towards them. Tricksy deserves the best!

**Tricksy will be ready to meet with starting Tuesday 09/17!**

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
