- Very friendly and loves toys; very welcoming to the cable repair person who visited his foster home - it was adorable!
- Had relatively few life experiences as a very young pup and can be shy and uncertain, but he does well if you give him time; has been coming out of his shell nicely in his foster home
- Has been making progress with potty training, but may need help from his new family to get 100% there
- Did well with school-age children in his previous home
- Lived with other dogs previously and has been very respectful of a temperamental older dog in his foster home
- Has done well with cats in his foster home
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
