Nala is an 8 year old Australian Shepherd/Husky mix. I rescued her from the streets of Texas after her previous owner abandoned her. Nala is a very sweet, loving, active pup. She loves fetch and she loves carrying around her stuffed animal babies. She does, however, have some needs that a new owner needs to be aware of. Nala is an anxious dog and struggles with reactivity and resource guarding. She has lived with my elderly dog for the last year and change, and has attacked him over food and toys. I highly recommend that Nala be adopted into a home where she is the only pup for this reason. She has done well with small children, but I cannot speak with certainty about how she would do all the time. Nala is also extremely vocal - I have made this work in my apartment but a single family home would likely be a more suitable option for her. I am not rehoming her due to any of these "issues," rather do to extremely unforeseen circumstances that I would be happy to share with an adopter.
