Meet Kona, she looks sad in her photos, but she’s a very happy confident puppy and that’s just her eyebrows that make her look that way :)I’m pre-screening for a wonderful home for this adorable girl. A DNA test was done on her brother and they are 72 percent Great Pyrenees and 21 percent Mastiff. She is going to be a big girl that will require a nice big yard. Please read up on the breed before applying. Kona is 8 weeks old great Pyrenees Mastiff mix. Her and her siblings were found dumped in an orchard with their cords still attached. Like her sister Kiki she is so smart already learning our doggy door. She is very affectionate and mellow also but still very playful and adventurous. They are wonderful family dogs. Hi, My name is Marianna. 15 years ago during my last trimester of my pregnancy, I have rescued 5 m old puppy pit bull, who was emaciated, locked in the shed, and under socialized. 2 weeks later, the puppy has prevented me from drifting into diabetic coma by waking me up while I was laying on the couch. I named him 2nd Chance, or Chancey, or Momma' Boy. As much as I have saved him, he has saved our then unborn daughter and also me.
When my daughter turned 5 months old, I have decided to start rescuing pit bulls from the public, and also, the shelters. My life has been changed forever by rescuing the most abused and neglected breed in US. I feel that now my life has a purpose. Today, I am a mom, Human Resources Professional, friend, and the Rescuer. I am honored to be able to rescue fur kids and find them great homes.
