My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous girl is looking for her “Yahtzee” a forever home to love her through any challenges.

Yahtzee is a 6 year old, 50 lbs Irish Setter mix. She is a sweet, calm girl who loves to lounge on the couch. Yahtzee loves all humans big and small and is very gentle. She is good with other pets and generally disinterested in them. She will sniff other dogs and then mostly ignore them. Yahtzee had had minimal interactions with cats, but has the same disposition with them.

Yahtzee is well trained and knows all of her basic commands and has had some advanced obedience training as well. She will walk on the leash in a heel position and enjoys short walks, she also rides well in the car. However when left at home alone, she does suffer from separation anxiety. She will have anxiety whether she is left in a crate or left out of the crate. Her ideal family would be a family willing to work through these problems with her. She is better in calmer environments that don’t have a lot of loud/distracting noises. She has not lived with other pets in the home but this may help her as well. Yahtzee is a sweet, awesome girl just looking for a family to work through these issues so she can give them all her love.

Yahtzee is house and crate trained. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. She is currently residing in Middle River, MD

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.      https://www.facebook.com/PaCaringForK9s/
