My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Curly, I'm guesstimated to be around 5-6 years old. I was an owner surrender with my sister Sissy. I'm a super sweet girl but I'm very shy. I need someone who will work with me and help me gain trust. I wasn't handled much so I'm a bit scared when picked up. I don't have a mean bone in my body but I cower somewhat when humans want to pick me up. I'm not 100% potty trained but doing very well in my foster home. I do go on the potty pad if I'm inside and mom's busy. I need someone with LOTS of understanding and patience. I'm about 6 1/2 lbs and so very sweet.

More about this rescue

S.A.V.E. Rescue Coalition works to promote adoption through new adoption events, more public exposure of pets for adoption, and help the public make a good match with an adoptable animal.
Rescue groups work very hard to save animals every day, often using their own money, sacrificing time with family etc. We have animals from shelters and the streets of Houston that are now adoptable pets and we area helping these animals find permanent, loving homes.
We are all volunteer and no funds are spent for salaries, benefits etc. All money goes directly to the rescue group or their animals.
