Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
VIVIENNE was found abandoned in a carrier in an alley, where she was almost never found. She also had a life-threatening health problem. Viv's intestine had herniated through a hole in her abdominal wall.
A large part of her intestine had become trapped and was at risk of becoming septic. She was very thin due to her body being unable to process food.
Thanks to Pound Pals Downriver and their mission to provide medical intervention for sick/injured homeless animals, and the talented medical staff at Southgate Animal Hospital... Viv is happy, healthy and almost fully recovered. She acts like a normal, playful kitten now.

Thank you for your interest in adopting a shelter cat!
NOW HOW DO I MEET OR ADOPT THIS CAT?
!. Go to our website at wacshelter.com.
2. Click on the "Apply To Adopt" button to submit an online adoption application.
** NOTE: You will get an email confirmation that we have received your
application. If you do not see this email appear upon submission, please check
your "spam" folder.
3. Your application will be processed and a volunteer adoption counselor will call or email with any questions.
** NOTE: If any questions are left unanswered or incomplete, the application
cannot be processed. A completely filled out application will take 1-3 days to
process! Missing or inaccurate answers may invalidate the application.
4. We will set up a time with you to meet the animal you've applied to adopt!
** NOTE: Our volunteers strive to make the best possible match once the application is accepted. Our goal is a fit that benefits both the cat and the home!
** We DO give preference to applicants with verifiable pet experience.
All cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise indicated.
All cats are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations.
All of our resident cats use their litter boxes unless otherwise indicated. Cats are naturally inclined to use a litter box.
Cat Fact: If a domestic cat is not using a litter box THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IS WRONG! It should never be ignored! Your cat is depending on you for help.
Our adoption fee for felines is $65.
That covers the cost of spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV test, deworming, flea prevention (if applicable) and vaccinations (if applicable).
We look forward to meeting you!
Please email us at wacvolunteers@gmail.com with any additional question
** NOTE: Be sure to check out our Facebook page at Wyandotte Animal Shelter (https://www.facebook.com/wacshelter/) for day to day updates on our cats and dogs. :)
