Meet Tillie, a 3-year-old Staffy mix who is as sweet as they come!

This loving girl adores everyone she meets—whether you're young or old, she’ll melt your heart with her gentle nature and big, soulful golden brown eyes. Tillie is not only great with people of all ages, but she also gets along fabulously with dogs (and cats too!).

Tillie recently found her way from South Carolina up to New York, and she is now in search of a forever family who will shower her with the love and attention she deserves.

In her old life she was originally bred for her puppies and spent her entire life living outside. Now she is loving the chance to learn about the finer things in life-- like finding a comfy spot to relax in the house, cuddling on the couch with her favorite humans, and enjoying endless toys and treats.

If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and even sometimes silly companion, Tillie is ready to be your new best friend and constant companion!

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
