My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We'd like to introduce you to Simon, a 10-year-old doodle. After his owner's wife passed away, Simon's previous owner found himself unable to care for this sweet boy, leaving Simon in search of a new loving home. As we've gotten to know Simon, it's become clear that he is a gentle giant who has so much love to give. However, we've noticed that he has a hitch in his get along. After examining his vaccination records and reaching out to his previous veterinarian, we discovered that Simon has been living with hip dysplasia. Sadly, his previous owner was aware of this condition but did not provide pain medication or inform us of the issue.
Now that we know Simon needs carprofen for his pain management, we are determined to help him get the care he deserves. He will needs to see a vet to receive the medication he requires. With several other medical cases already in our care, including two recent rescues from the shelter, we are hoping to find Simon a loving home as soon as possible to ensure he gets the attention and treatment he needs.
