My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Sig to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Sig is a 1.5 year old Chiweenie. He is very friendly and bonds deeply with a single person. He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown. He is good on a leash, good in a crate, good with cats and dogs. Sig also will use the doggie door to go outside. He does his business outside. He is currently in foster care waiting for his forever home. He will make some lucky family a great companion. He would be a great walking companion. He is lively and energetic despite how calm he is in the video. He lives with a dog much bigger than himself and he does great with her. He isn’t too vocal and a nice little dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get Sig to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. He would be fine in a home with a moderately active family and children would be fine. We like them to be 8 or older. He is going to bond deeply with one family member and really like them over anyone else in the home. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. More about this shelter

C.C.P.A.L. seeks to reduce the enormous problem of pet overpopulation in Bandera County We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Since 2002, CCPAL has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them homes. Our pets are in kennels on an acreage in Texas. We can use a transporter to get them outside of Texas if we find a great home.
