Cece was found as a stray in Sumter, suspected of being dumped by a breeder. She is shy and hesitant of new things and people, but once she attaches, she wants to be with you all the time. Cece is spayed and microchipped and will begin heartworm treatment soon ....we will provide. She shows no reaction to cats on walks or in the vet's office but has not been directly exposed. She is playful with her toys and other dogs, loves to be a couch potato by day and a bed hog by night. She was kept in a crate in the beginning of her foster and did very well, however, she harmed nothing and is 90% house broken and does exceptionally well with a routine so crating isn't a must. She sometimes opts to sleep in the crate but prefers to be with her human. Cece is pure sweetness, looking for a quiet place to relax and continue to learn what it's like to be loved in a safe environment. She would be overwhelmed by young children or a busy/loud household with new people coming and going. You won't find a better companion than this sweet, shy girl. Spay, vaccines, microchip provided. 2 yr 17 lb.

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue was founded by a team of volunteers with many years of experience in pet rescue. With over 20,000 companion animals being euthanized each year in the Midlands of SC, our goal is to save as many as possible from this dreadful fate. Rescue is expensive, so your help is needed in order for us to save lives. Each pet receives prompt medical attention, is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted into a loving home. Medical care is our main expense. We also must purchase microchips, heartworm and flea preventions, food and many other supplies.
