Meet Barnabas!

Date of Birth: April 16, 2022

Barnabas is an incredibly loving kitty. This sweet boy thrives on attention and will make sure you know just how much he adores you. Barnabas is a real cuddle enthusiast—so much so that he might give you a playful smack if you stop showing him affection before he's had his fill!

Barnabas is FIV+, a condition that affects a cat’s immune system. While FIV+ cats can live long and happy lives, they may require some extra care. Barnabas is otherwise healthy and gets along with other cats.

Barnabas is fully vetted and ready for his forever home. Which includes vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick treatment, neutering, and microchipping.

Application and home check, adoption contract. Fees according to prevailing rate for local area. Generally $105 for kittens, and adult cats in Humboldt County, may be slightly higher in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

More about this rescue

We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
