NEW INTAKE 9/7/2024: Pierce - male - 9 years young - 11.2 pounds - Poodle
Reason for intake: Pierce is an owner-surrender. His people sold their house and moved into an apartment and could not keep their dogs. We took in Pierce. He's got some funky, crusty ears that we will have our vet treat. He was also attacked in 2019, by two pit bulls when they lived in the other home when the pits pulled Pierce under the fence. He is very lucky to be alive. He had wounds on his belly, head and jaw but he's healed from all of that. He still has a staple in his jaw that was never removed. We will speak to our vet about that. We have more information about this little guy and will include it in his write-up once he's available for adoption. Stay tuned!
NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
