A PET?

Agar will not be deemed as such. Agar is hoping for the title "Best friend" , "Fur baby", "Purrfect." This handsome boy is so sweet and happy to spend the day hanging around. He can be talkative at times which is always a HOOT! Agar enjoys snuggling on laps or hanging out next to you if you're working from home. He's a very curious boy and full of life! He does well with other cats and kids and would likely do well in a home with dogs with a proper introduction. If you're looking for a new member to add to your family, apply below!

We are the only shelter in Cedar County, Iowa. We take in homeless dogs and cats and help them to find carefully screened, lifelong, and nurturing homes. FOA serves Cedar County, Iowa.

When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving dog or cat a home. You’re also reducing the demand for puppy mills and other industrial-scale breeding operations that put profits before animal welfare. Homeless, scared, abused, neglected or surrendered, whatever the circumstance may be, our goal is to give all animals the chance to feel loved, wanted and special. After all, their souls are pure, and they deserve only the best from us.
