Why I need a new home

Behavioral issues

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In search of a home for my playful and affectionate 4.5 year old tortoiseshell, Penelope.
She is very social and friendly with adults. Overall a healthy cat, though a little on the chunky side. She also does have a habit of chewing plastic grocery bags when left in her reach.

The reason we are rehoming is because we have a toddler that loves our cat in a not so gentle way. We have tried working with her to be more gentle with the cat, and our many attempts have not helped. Penelope has scratched our daughter many times when she is provoked in this way.

We are not asking for any payment, we just want her to have a good home, one without small children where she can relax and be herself.
