Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have 3 border collie mix puppies that are 2 months old and are available for adoption. There is 1 boy (Bolt) and 2 girls (Ellie and Piper ) and please understand that they will be working dogs/herders and please research the breed if you are interested in one of the puppies. Maya, a stray who was never claimed, is their Mama who blessed us with puppies during her stray hold and we do not know who dad is but can assume that the pups will grow to be about 40 pounds or more.
We do not adopt puppies until they have had at least TWO vaccines and are medically stable and vet cleared. Also please understand the puppies are too young to get a rabies vaccine or to get spayed or neutered and that is the responsibility of an adopter. An adopter will sign a spay/neuter contract and submit a non-refundable NYS deposit of $35 in addition to the adoption fee and that deposit will be returned upon proof of alteration. We can discuss some low cost spay/neuter options with you if you choose to adopt one of the puppies.
These puppies sure are cute and please know they need structure and training. They need time, patience and commitment and lots of it!! And know that puppies chew and you will need to puppy-proof your house. They also need room to run. 😊
If you may be interested in adding a puppy to your family, here is a link to our application that you can print out, complete and email (ocadoptions@aol.com) or text (585-752-2588) back to us as a jpg. http://www.friendsoftheocas.org/uploads/3/4/7/0/34700641/interest_application.pdf
