For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Would you describe yourself as a “foodie”? Someone with a well-developed palate, who enjoys the finer tastes from around the world? Would you like someone to talk to about all of your favourite meals? Thomas is your man! This sweet and friendly two-year-old grey tabby is very affectionate and described as “hungry for cuddles”! Thomas is also driven by his passion for food, and loves a variety of treats from his humans! He loves to be near his people all the time for a little snack or a love session of pets and scratches. Thomas is not terribly into toys yet – but maybe the right toy hasn’t been offered yet? He might even work for treats! Who doesn’t love a good game of chase the treats down the hall? Thomas is in a foster home with other cats and may do well with a buddy. He is also happy to be the only cat in the house. Thomas would do well in a family with older children who can respectfully give him all the snuggles he needs.
Thomas’ past is a bit of a mystery – as he was found most likely dumped at a local farm. Once found, he was treated by the vet, neutered and taken care of by his loving foster family – where he discovered tasty foods and the warmth and love of a home.
We know Thomas’ sweet and easy-going nature is sure to make a great addition to your family! He hopes you’re his perfect match and he can finally find his Home at Last!

More about this rescue
Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.
We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.
We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
