My name is Colt!

Hello. My name is Colt. I am a 11-week-old Catahoula mix male who weighs around 10 Lbs. I was originally found abandoned in a storm drain off of Cornelius in Rockwall. Unfortunately, my finder was unable to keep me and decided to surrender to the shelter in hopes that I will be able to find a fur-ever home! I am a sweet boy who is at an age where I can easily learn and acclimate to any family. Since I am so young, basic training, socialization and house training are a must! That way I will grow up to be the perfect family companion. My adoption fee is $125 which includes my neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, 1st round of puppy boosters and 1st dewormer. I am scheduled to return to the shelter for my neuter and rabies vaccine on Wednesday 09/25/24. This date is non-negotiable so please plan accordingly if you plan to adopt. Since I have only had my first round of puppy vaccines, an approved online adoption is required for all meet and greets as well as for adoption. RAC staff will be in touch with approved adopters to schedule meet and greets accordingly.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
