Meet Suki – A Beautiful and Resilient 1.5-Year-Old Husky Girl Looking for Her Forever Home!
Suki’s story is one of incredible strength and perseverance. This sweet, goofy 1.5-year-old girl came to RezQ Dogs after a heartbreaking incident where she was shot. Her left front leg was completely unusable—it dangled and dragged behind her. The veterinarians feared the worst, thinking the bullet might have severed nerves, potentially requiring amputation. But they advised giving her time to heal, and we are so glad we did! Little by little, Suki started regaining use of that leg, and now she’s constantly improving!
However, as she made progress, we discovered that her journey of survival didn't end there. Suki’s hind leg had also been broken long before she came to us, and it didn’t heal properly, leaving her with a limp. But don’t let that fool you—Suki doesn’t let her past slow her down! She runs, plays, and gets the zoomies like any other happy pup.
Suki LOVES to play with other dogs (though she prefers boy dogs), but cats are a bit too interesting for her, so a home without cats would be best. She is also housetrained, crate trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations.
If you're looking for a happy, spirited girl to join your family, Suki is the one! She's been through so much, but her heart is full of love to give.
